It would be beneficial to be on-site 4 days a week, depending on the project needs and working remotely other days- Our mayor defence client is growing their Systems Engineering team in order to help the Armed forces fulfil the full potential of the system and to extend and tailor the capability for existing and emerging export contracts. The increase in orders, alongside a refresh of elements of the hardware solution leads to a need to increase the size of the team. As the system design evolves, and the number of units in service increases, there is a need to ensure that the system design is robust and has a high level of reliability and maintainability, particularly in relation to the hardware and software components of the primary electronic subsystems. The FMEA Engineer is placed within the System Architecture team, and is expected to conduct and maintain an FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis) of the System, propose design changes to improve robustness and testability, and support the development of maintenance/fault diagnostic procedures.
