Pay: £14.63 - £15.18 per hour (from week 13)Job Description:Hours:Monday to Friday2pm to 10pmOverviewWe are seeking a dedicated FLT/Warehouse Operative to join our team on the late shift. This role involves supporting warehouse operations through efficient materials handling, equipment management, and shipping and receiving activities. The successful candidate will have experience with warehouse management systems and mechanical tasks, ensuring smooth and safe warehouse functions during their shift.DutiesOperate counterbalance forklift trucks and other warehouse equipment safely and efficientlyLoad and unload goods from lorries, containers, and storage areasManage materials handling using appropriate techniques and toolsAssist with shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accurate documentationConduct basic equipment repairs and maintenance as requiredUtilise warehouse management systems to track inventory movementsSupport stock organisation and storage optimisation within the warehouseFollow health and safety protocols at all times to maintain a secure working environmentRequirementsProven experience in a warehouse environment, including shipping and receiving tasksValid counterbalance forklift licence or relevant certificationFamiliarity with warehouse management systems (WMS)Ability to handle heavy lifting safely and efficientlyBasic maths skills for inventory counts and documentation accuracyExperience with materials handling equipment such as pallet trucks or ..... full job details .....
