FLT/Van Driver

Overview IRS group (IRS) currently recruiting for an experienced FLT / Van Driver to join a busy manufacturing environment in Dudley. This is a 50/50 role, with approximately half of your time spent operating an FLT and the other half driving a company van for deliveries and collections. Previous experience within the food manufacturing industry is preferred. Key Responsibilities Operating an FLT safely around the site. Loading and unloading goods and materials. Driving a company van for deliveries and collections. Moving stock and materials around the warehouse and production areas. Supporting the wider team when required. Keeping work areas clean, tidy and safe. Following all Health and Safety procedures. Completing basic delivery and stock paperwork. About You The ideal candidate will: Hold a valid FLT licence/certificate. Hold a full UK driving licence. Have previous FLT and van driving experience. Ideally have experience within food manufacturing. Be comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment. Be hands-on and willing to get stuck in and help wherever needed. Have a strong work ethic and reliable attitude. Be punctual and dependable. Be able to work well as part of a team. The Role This is a varied, hands-on position for someone who enjoys being kept busy. You will split your time between FLT operation, van driving and supporting the wider team to keep the operation running smoothly.
