FLT / Warehouse Operative

Our client, based in Trafford/ Stretford are looking to recruit an experienced FLT / Warehouse person.
Candidates must have experience in a manufacturing / engineering environment.

Duties:

The Role of the Job:

• Operating FLT counterbalance truck.
• Unloading and loading vehicles using FLT.
• Moving pallets around a very busy warehouse.
• Working as a part of a team to ensure the line runs smoothly.
• Quality checking the production process and the product.
• Support fellow production line operatives and line leaders.
• Ensure that hygiene and housekeeping standards are always kept.

Requirements of the Individual:

• Be able to work as part of a team as well as individually.
• Possess good literacy and numeracy. Must be IT literate.
• Strong communication skills.
• Be a strong team player.
• Must be used to computerised warehouse system
• In date FLT counterbalance licence (RTITB or equivalent).

Hours of Work:
07.30 - 15.30 or 08.30 – 16.30 with 1 hour for lunch.
37.5 hour per week.
