MHE Training Assessor / Instructor - Solihull Pay Details: £19.89 per hour (inclusive of shift allowance) Hours of work: Rotating shifts:AM - PM - Nights - (Mon-Thu only) Days of work:Mon-Fri (Mon-Thu for night shift) Duration:Ongoing agency work We are recruiting experienced, qualified MHE Assessors/Instructors for our automotive manufacturing logistics client in Solihull. Key Responsibilities Lead and promote a strong Health and Safety culture across site operations, ensuring it remains the top priority Deliver and support site inductions covering MHE (Material Handling Equipment) and manual handling for all permanent and agency staff Assist with Risk Assessments (RA) and Safe Systems of Work (SSOW) in collaboration with relevant stakeholders Deliver high-quality technical training to support operational teams using a variety of methods Ensure all training is completed, accurately recorded, and compliant with company policies Develop and maintain a site skills matrix to track operator competence and identify training needs Monitor and manage MHE operator numbers to reduce risk associated with inexperienced or infrequent users Maintain operator competence through refresher training, workplace assessments, and follow-up training where unsafe practices or incidents are identified Support investigations into MHE-related incidents and accidents, providing guidance and recommendations Drive continuous improvement by identifying risks and delivering learning from experience ..... full job details .....
