About the Role
Based at a chemical manufacturing site in Warrington, this FLT / Production Operative role involves moving and allocating containers around the warehouse using a counterbalance truck. Duties also include sorting and washing Intermediate Bulk Containers within the reuse centre, maintaining clean and hazard-free workstations, and following health and safety policies at all times. Candidates must hold a valid, in-date counterbalance licence. The position runs Monday to Friday, 08:00 until 16:30, on a full-time temporary-to-permanent contract paying £13.20 per hour. Previous warehouse experience is essential for this hands-on opportunity.

Our client, a Chemical Manufacturing company are currently seeking an experience FLT Warehouse Operative with an in-date Counterbalance licence to join their expanding team on a temporary to permanent basis.
As an FLT Warehouse Operative your duties will be: -
- Moving and allocating containers in and around the warehouse.
- Operating FLT Counterbalance.
- Sorting and washing Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBC) within the reuse centre.
- Adhering to health and safety policies at all times.
- Keeping working stations clean and hazardous free.
The successful FLT Warehouse Operative will have the following skills: -
- Must have a valid in date FLT Counterbalance.
- Experience working with chemicals would be advantageous.
- Previous production or warehouse experience.
- Good knowledge and understanding of Health and Safety Procedures
- Team player
- Attention to detail.
