FLT Production Operative

FLT Production Operative - Birtley We are recruiting a number FLT Production Operatives to join a leading manufacturing client in Birtley. These are long-term opportunities which combine forklift duties and hands-on production responsibilities. Some positions also require a full UK driving licence due to transporting materials between units. Key Duties Operating Counterbalance FLT safely Transporting materials across site (and between units where required) Working on a fast-paced production line Machine operation Packing and quality checking products Manual handling and lifting Vessel cleaning using jet wash equipment Working with solvent-based products (PPE provided) Adhering to COSHH and health and safety procedures Completing shift handovers Shift Pattern 2 days 6:00am 6:00pm 2 nights 6:00pm 6:00am 4 days off Continental rotating pattern which involves some weekend working. Breaks are paid. Requirements Accredited Counterbalance FLT licence (essential) Full UK driving licence for positions involving transport between units (where applicable) Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling Able to work continental shifts Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred Good attention to detail and teamwork skills Please note: Applicants without a valid Counterbalance FLT licence will not be considered Due to the high volume of applications, we are unable to provide individual feedback.
