Manpower has exciting opportunity has arisen to join a world leading global organisation. Our client, a leading global FMCG company with brands such as Domestos, Comfort, Persil & Tressemme, are currently looking for Warehouse FLT Operator to work in their prestigious facility in Port Sunlight. This is a Temporary position, with an immediate start with the duration expected to be to March 2026 (this will be ongoing) The pay rate will be -20.28 an hour on basis of annualised 37.5 hours per week
FLT licenses that are RTITB or ITSSAR accredited are essential for this role.
Applicants must be available to work Monday to Sunday following a 5-crew shift pattern:
2 x 12-hour days 05:30 am to 17:30pm then 2 x 12-hour nights 17:30pm to 05:30am then 6 days off
18 day paid break is built into the shift pattern
During the "off" periods there are requirements to be "on call" if absence cover is required.

Reporting to the First Line Leaders and Warehouse Run to standard leader, the successful applicant will have a pro-active, safe and quality conscious approach to material supply.
They will be a relationship builder, with the ability to communicate their opinions both verbally and in writing to colleagues and managers alike. They will work effectively within the team to achieve and exceed both factory and team targets set within the business.
Key responsibilities
- Checking Objects, work, procedures, to ensure correct materials are being transported
- Safe operation of Counterbalance licence to supply materials.
- Checking completed work to current site quality standards.
- Checking adherence to schedules. Understands benefits of achieving site KPI''s.
- Creating good team spirit.
- Summarising numerical & verbal information. Reading plans/diagrams.
- Handling information: Entering details into system, ascertaining job requirements.
- All of the above to be carried out whilst observing plant procedures and ensuring safety is paramount
Required Experience/Qualifications
- Experience within a Warehousing environment or be able to demonstrate an educational background with Warehousing / Manufacturing focus.
Preferred Education & Experiences to fulfil role:
- Full Counterbalance RTITB or ITSSAR accredited Licences are essential for this role
- Effective Communication skills
- A good standard of IT literacy - highly desirable.
- Experience within a Warehousing environment or be able to demonstrate an educational background with Warehousing / Manufacturing focus.
- Knowledge of SAP systems - beneficial.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Pre-shift Vehicle checks (before the start of every shift)
- Reporting of any faults or damage to truck to First Line Leaders immediately
- Must have a basic knowledge of Health and Safety in the workplace
- Be able to work well within a team
- Understand and adhere to Safe Standard of Work at all times
