About the Role
Pertemps North Midlands is hiring an FLT Nights A26 operator for a full-time, ongoing contract in Derby, with work secured beyond Christmas and considerable overtime available. The role commands £12.77 to £16.99 per hour, reflecting a clean, modern logistics facility in South Derby, accessible from Castle Donington, Long Eaton, Alvaston, and Burton on Trent. The position involves operating Reach and Counterbalance forklifts to company standards, alongside PPT and manual picking during equipment downtime. Maintaining picking accuracy and strict Health and Safety compliance is essential. Successful candidates will demonstrate flexibility with shift hours to meet overtime demands, with temp-to-perm prospects for reliable operators.

We are currently hiring ongoing FLT Drivers for our busy logistics client in the South Derby area, easily accessible from Castle Donington, Long Eaton, Alvaston and Burton on Trent.
This is a growing opertation with future opportunities for temp-to-perm contracts.
Key responsibilities of the successful FLT Driver include:-
- Operating Reach and/or Counterbalance forklift in line with company requirements
- Supporting with PPT and manual picking duties where required during periods of MHE downtime
- Ensuring a high standard of picking accuracy
- Maintaining high standards of Health and Safety when operating the FLT
- Being flexible with working hours to accommodate overtime requests
In order to be successful for the position, you will be required to:
- Demonstrate at least 2 years experience as a forklift driver
- Pass a practical forklift assessment
- Show genuine interest and a 'continuous improvement' mindset during induction/ interview process
Shifts and rates available:
Sunday - Thursday night shift (£16.99 per hour)
Monday - Friday AM shift (£12.77 per hour)
