About the Role
Manpower UK seeks two FLT drivers for a client in Mansfield, a global packaging firm. This temporary placement, paying up to £15.66 per hour plus overtime, offers an ongoing schedule with potential permanency. Shifts rotate weekly between 6-2 and 2-10. Overtime earns time-and-a-half on Saturdays and double time on Sundays. Duties include completing equipment and battery checks, performing product quality inspections, operating rotor wrap and scanning systems, moving stock, pre-picking, loading finished goods, and verifying trailer conditions. A valid, in-house licence is not accepted for this role. Candidates must possess solid counterbalance experience and a commitment to safety protocols.
Manpower are urgently looking for 2 FLT drivers for our client based in Mansfield.
This is an ongoing position with the potential of this leading to permanent employment.
Our client is a global leading packaging company.
Please note our client does not accept in house licences
These positions are 6-2 / 2-10 weekly rotating paying £15.66 per hour - overtime is paid time and a half on a Saturday and double time on a Sunday
Duties to include
- Responsible for all FLT, equipment safety checks including work area
- FLT battery changeover and maintenance
- Product/stack quality checks (is everything safe andamp; undamaged£)
- Rotor wrap operation
- Scanning operation
- Moving andamp; transacting product on the shop floor
- Pre picking and scanning
- Loading finished goods
- Control plan checks (trailer condition etc)
- Offloading tinplate / deliveries / checking goods against delivery notes
- Correct stacking of finished goods
- Process inventory checks (accuracy, RW1/RW2)
- Compactor operation/process
- Maintaining good housekeeping standards
- Supporting other FLT drivers / shift handover board
Applicants must have the below
- 3rd party FLT accreditation within last 2 years
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Cycle counting accuracy
- Knowledge of data entry, moving goods.
