Temporary-Processing Operative

Temporary contract until April
Full-time hours

We are looking for reliable and hardworking people to join a busy processing operation on a temporary basis until April.

This is a hands-on role working with specialist equipment to process, treat and pack our client''s products. Full training will be provided on the equipment and processes, but you will need to be comfortable following instructions, working safely and getting stuck in.

The role

Working as part of a team, your duties will include:

• Processing, treating and packing.
• Operating specialist processing equipment following training.
• Following daily work schedules and computerised instructions.
• Handling materials and products accurately.
• Carrying out basic safety checks on equipment.
• Keeping the working area clean, tidy and safe.
• Following all Health & Safety procedures.
• Supporting the team with other general duties as required.

What we''re looking for

You must have:

• Count Balance qualification/certificate gained within the last 3 years.
• Good understanding of spoken and written English.
• Good computer skills and be comfortable using computer systems.
• Good attention to detail.
• A reliable and hardworking approach.
• The ability to follow procedures and instructions.
• The ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
• A willingness to work in a busy, physically demanding environment.

Experience

Previous experience in production, manufacturing, agriculture-or a similar environment would be useful, but isn''t essential.
