Flt Driver

Key Responsibilities:

• Curtainside Loading & Unloading: Safely operate Counterbalance forklift trucks to load and unload palletized and bulky goods from curtainside trailers.

• Curtain Operation: Safely pull back, secure, and fasten vehicle curtains and straps before and after loading operations.

• Stock Management: Transport stock accurately around the yard and warehouse, ensuring proper staging and organization of freight.

• Vehicle Checks: Conduct daily pre-operational checks on the forklift and verify trailer safety before loading or dispatch.

• Compliance & Safety: Maintain strict adherence to site health, safety, and manual handling protocols, ensuring loads are safely distributed and secured.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Valid, accredited Forklift (Counterbalance) license/certification.

• Proven experience working with curtainside vehicles, transport logistics, or busy distribution yards.

• Strong spatial awareness and a commitment to safe load-securing practices.

• Reliable, punctual, and capable of working effectively in a high-tempo environment.
