Temp to perm opportunity Favourable day shifts - (Apply online only) Monday to Friday Warm, welcoming business We are seeking Multi-skilled Production Operatives for a busy metal processing plant in Tamworth. This would be an excellent opportunity to join a leading recycling business with a presence in four continents. As such, they are keen to make a long-term investment into new staff members who are looking to secure a career in the metallics industry. Main responsibilities for our Metal Recycling Operative role include: - Operating machinery (such as plasma cutters and bandsaws) to break down automotive components - Strip parts down with use of hand tools - Sorting parts into separate categories by hand - Use of Forklift truck to move the granulated products around the shop floor - Working in a sampler station to help identify the concentration of precious metals in each component (e.g. platinum/radium) Although you will likely be assigned a core area, it would be the company''s vision to offer cross-training in multiple areas to maximise your knowledge. Workwear will be provided, it may be worth noting that you will be required to wear a full protective mask and visor to help provide proper ventilation.
