About the Role
Pertemps Leicester Industrial seeks experienced FLT Drivers for a logistics depot in Leicestershire, supporting a well-established tin manufacturing company. This full-time role pays £13 to £13.59 per hour. Working patterns include 4 on 4 off night shifts, 6pm to 6am, or Monday to Friday, 2pm to 10pm. Duties cover operating a B1 Counterbalance or Reach truck safely, loading and unloading vehicles, moving finished goods and raw materials, assisting warehouse and dispatch teams, completing daily vehicle checks, and upholding health and safety standards. Applicants must hold a valid counterbalance or reach licence and demonstrate competence in busy logistics settings.

We are currently recruiting experienced FLT Counterbalance / Reach Drivers to join our busy logistics depot within a well-established tin manufacturing company.
The Role
Working within a fast-paced logistics and dispatch environment, you will be responsible for:
- Operating a B1 Counterbalance FLT safely and efficiently
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Moving finished goods and raw materials across site
- Supporting warehouse and dispatch operations
- Completing daily vehicle checks
- Maintaining strict health & safety standards
Shift Pattern
- 4 on / 4 off – Nights – 6pm to 6am- Rotating shift pattern
- Monday to Friday – 2pm to 10pm
Essential Requirements
- Valid B1 Counterbalance FLT licence
- Willingness to undertake training on B3 Counterbalance (training provided)
- Previous experience in a logistics or manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to safety and safe working practices
Recruitment & Training Timeline

All FLT Drivers will receive additional training on the B3 Counterbalance.
