FLT Driver / Warehouse Operative
Location: Kingswinford
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday - 8am to 4pm
Hourly Rate: £13.18ph
We are looking for an experienced FLT Driver/ warehouse operative to join our client, a manufacturing company in Kingswinford. We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual with strong warehouse and FLT experience. The successful candidate must be confident and experienced operating a counterbalance FLT in a busy working environment.
Key Requirements:

Valid UK manual driving licence – MUST HAVE
Experienced Counterbalance FLT licence – MUST HAVE
Proven experience operating a counterbalance forklift
Experience working within a warehouse or distribution environment
Good awareness of health & safety procedures
Reliable, punctual and hardworking
Good communication and teamwork skills
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling

Responsibilities will include:

Operating the Counterbalance FLT safely and efficiently
Loading and unloading deliveries
Moving and storing stock within the warehouse
Preparing orders for dispatch
General warehouse duties and stock handling
Ensuring goods are stored safely and correctly
Driving company vehicles between sites and carrying out local deliveries when required
Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment

Successful Candidate will have:

Warehouse experience
A manual driving licence is essential, as driving between sites and completing local deliveries may form part of the role.
Experience handling materials safely.
Good awareness of Health & Safety requirements.
Good attention to detail.
A reliable and hardworking attitude.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills.
