We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious FLT (Forklift Truck) Driver to join our dynamic warehouse team. Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklift trucks and other warehouse equipment to load and unload materials with precision and care
• Handle materials efficiently, ensuring accurate placement and storage within designated areas
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and perform basic repairs or notify maintenance for mechanical issues
• Manage shipping and receiving processes by verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation
• Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory movements and update records accurately
• Assist with materials handling tasks, including stacking, organizing, and preparing goods for shipment or storage
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times

Experience

• Proven experience operating forklift trucks in a warehouse or distribution setting
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory control and order processing
• Basic mechanical knowledge for equipment repair and troubleshooting minor issues
• Strong materials handling skills with the ability to lift heavy loads safely
• Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures to ensure accurate processing of goods
• Good understanding of safety standards related to heavy lifting and equipment operation
• Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory counts, measurements, and documentation
