About the Role
The role of FLT Driver Night Shift is based in Dudley and involves operating counterbalance trucks within a plastics manufacturing warehouse. This full-time, temporary position requires loading and unloading raw materials and finished components, plus transporting stock between storage and production areas. Working Monday to Thursday from 9.40pm to 5.50am and Friday from 5pm to 10.50pm, the hourly rate is £12.71 for the first 12 weeks, rising to £15.61 thereafter. Candidates must hold a valid counterbalance licence and possess previous experience in a similar environment. Strong attention to safety and the ability to work independently during night shifts are essential.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operating FLT Counterbalance trucks safely in line with site procedures.
- Loading and unloading deliveries, including raw materials and finished plastic components.
- Transporting materials between warehouse, storage areas, and production lines.
- Ensuring production lines are consistently stocked to avoid downtime.
- Stacking and storing pallets in designated locations, including racking systems.
- Carrying out daily FLT checks and reporting any defects.
- Assisting with goods-in and goods-out processes, including checking deliveries against paperwork.
- Using scanners or basic systems to track stock movements (if applicable).
- Supporting stock control, including pallet counts and location checks.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
- Working to targets and deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
Key Requirements:
- Valid, in-date FLT Counterbalance licence (essential).
- Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- Good understanding of health & safety practices.
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
- Reliable, punctual, and flexible
