About the Role

The FLT Driver position in Dewsbury involves operating both Reach and Counterbalance trucks at Shaw Cross Business Park. This temporary role, offered by Manpower UK, pays £14.62 per hour for the first twelve weeks, rising to £15.53 thereafter. You will work rotating shifts from 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm, with an early finish on Fridays. Key responsibilities include goods receiving and dispatch, loading and unloading vehicles, conducting stock location and rack inspections, wrapping and stacking pallets, and assembling emballage crates. Direct communication with drivers and control of loading activities are also required. Candidates must hold valid licences for both FLT types and have reliable transport to site.

Warehouse Operative / FLT Driver - Ossett / Dewsbury

Shift Pattern: Rotating Shifts (6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm) - early finish on Friday

Are you an experienced Warehouse Operative with valid FLT licences£
Do you live in or around Ossett / Dewsbury - or have your own transport to get to site for early or late shifts£

Key Duties Include:

Goods receiving and dispatch
Loading/unloading vehicles
Stock location and rack inspections (training provided)
Wrapping, strapping, stacking pallets
Emballage crate building and packaging assembly
Direct driver communication andamp; control of paperwork
Escalating damaged goods, poor loads, or low stock
Supporting stock counts and annual stocktake
General housekeeping (5S duties)
Occasional computer work (full training provided)

FLT Requirements:

Valid andamp; accredited licences (within last 3 years):
B1 Counterbalance
D1 Reach

Willing to complete A5 Stacker certification (provided)
Role is approx. 60% FLT driving / 40% manual warehouse tasks
