About the Role
This FLT Driver role in Brighouse offers up to £14.10 per hour on a temporary basis, with potential for permanent employment. Manpower is currently recruiting for an experienced FLT Driver / Clamp Truck Operator on behalf of our client based in Brighouse. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business with the potential to secure a permanent position following a successful temporary period.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday
- 7:00am to 4:00pm
- 1-hour unpaid lunch break
Weekend Requirement
- Every other weekend
- Saturday: 8:00am to 1:00pm
- Sunday: 8:00am to 12:00pm
Pay Rate
- £14.10 per hour
- Saturday and Sunday paid at premium rate
Key Responsibilities
- Operating a Counterbalance FLT and Clamp Truck safely and efficiently
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Moving stock around the warehouse and yard
- Supporting production and warehouse operations
- Completing daily equipment checks
- Maintaining high standards of health and safety
Requirements
- Valid FLT licence (essential)
- Previous FLT driving experience
- Clamp Truck experience highly desirable
- Good understanding of warehouse operations
- Reliable, hardworking, and safety-conscious attitude
- Ability to work the required weekend rota
