Warehouse Operative / Counterbalance Forklift Driver

Location: Bedford
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am start
Contract: Temp to Perm

Our client is looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative / Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join their busy team in Bedford.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with warehouse and forklift experience who is looking for a long-term position with the opportunity to become permanent.

• General warehouse duties
• Loading and unloading materials
• Operating a counterbalance forklift
• Operating machinery, including a band saw for cutting metal
• Preparing and moving materials safely around the site
• Driving a company van when required
• Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment
• Following all company health and safety procedures

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence – essential
• Full UK Driving Licence – essential
• Previous warehouse experience
• Comfortable operating machinery
• Good understanding of workplace health and safety
• Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling duties
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking
• Able to work independently and as part of a team

• £12.71 per hour
• Monday to Friday working hours
• 7:00am start
