Job Title: FLT C/B Driver Location: Ross on Wye, HR9Pay Rate: £12.44 p/hContract: Temporary ongoing with permanent opportunities availablegap personnel Gloucester are currently recruiting a forklift driver for Client s busy timber yard near Ross-on-Wye. Duties include, loading their own vehicles, unloading articulated vehicles delivering to them, and also general forklift and yard duties. There will also be some interaction with other team members in this role as you will be required to take materials in and out of the workshops.You will be using a counterbalance forklift, and a current counterbalance forklift licence is a requirement for this role. You must also be comfortable reading quantities and dimensions on order sheets, as well as using a tape measure accurately.Main Duties as a FLT Counterbalance Driver Forklift drivingManual handlingCounting and measuringAccurate reading and understanding of delivery notes, picking notes, and works orders.Good Communication between operatives on site.Working independently Working Hours:• Monday to Friday, 8am 5pmHourly Pay Rates• Basic Rate - £12.44Performance will be judged on: Safe and efficient working practicesAccuracy and safety of vehicle loading and unloading,DemeanourUnderstanding of company processes This is a physical role and will suit someone used to manually handling products as well as the use of a forklift.
