FLT Counterbalance Driver

Our client are a local manufacturing business looking to recruitment a Despatch Operative to join them on a temporary to permanent basis.

Shift/salary:

• Monday to Friday 10:00-19:00
• £13.30 rising to £13.71
• Further progression opportunities to increase salary to £14.40
• Weekly pay each Friday
• Temporary to permanent opportunity
• Onsite parking

Duties:

• Moving company vans at the end of the day.
• Locating doors according to vehicle load plans.
• Carefully putting doors on pallets, wrapping, and scanning them.
• Assisting with the loading of HGVs in the warehouse.
• Attention to detail to ensure the correct doors are being palleted.
• Care when manually handling doors and glass to place them on pallets.
• Adhering to health and safety guidelines.
• Safe loading of vehicles.

The candidate:

• Hold a valid FLT Counterbalance license taken or refreshed in the last 3 years.
• Working within a despatch role setting using FLT.
• Confident of using in house stock and PC systems.
• Full UK driving licence.
• A strong work ethic.
• Ability to operate as part of a team.
