This is a hands-on role within an industrial setting, combining forklift operation with operating saws to cut steel bar to customer specifications. The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience working with steel and hold a valid 4 Way Reach Forklift licence. This is a busy environment where safety, accuracy and attention to detail are extremely important. Key Responsibilities Operating a 4 Way Reach Forklift Truck to move and position steel products safely Operating industrial saws to cut steel bar to specified lengths Loading and unloading steel materials Moving heavy steel products around the warehouse and processing areas Preparing steel materials to customer specifications Ensuring materials are handled and stored safely Carrying out checks on equipment and reporting any issues Following health and safety procedures at all times Maintaining a clean and organised working environment Working as part ...
