Were looking for a hands-on Supervisor or Front of House Manager whos comfortable leading the team from the floor, taking an active part in service, and handling the day-to-day admin that keeps the restaurant running smoothly.Youll work directly with the owner, taking responsibility for the smooth running of service, managing the team, and keeping on top of all essential admin tasks. This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys being on the floor, leading by example, and keeping everything organised behind the scenes.Responsibilities

Service and Team LeadershipLead the front-of-house team during service

Take orders, serve guests, manage table flow, and ensure a smooth guest experience

Support and train staff, run briefings, and help build a positive working culture

Admin and OperationsPrepare weekly rotas, monitor hours and arrange cover when needed

Handle stock checks, supplier orders and daily cashing up

Maintain front-of-house standards and ensure health and safety compliance

Support with basic reporting, cost tracking and other routine admin tasks

What Were Looking For

Experience as a Supervisor, Floor Manager or Senior Waiter in a small or independent restaurant - must have 2 years experience in a similar role

Comfortable working in a busy, hands-on environment and stepping in wherever needed

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

A calm, confident presence on the floor, with a genuine interest in hospitality

Basic IT skills

Excel, Google Sheets, or similar

Some familiarity with Japanese food is a bonus but not essential
