Flood Risk Consultant

My client a market leading Environmental and Engineering Consultancy, is searching for a Flood Risk Consultant to join their Team based in Exeter.   

Alternative offices available in Exeter, Sheffield, London and Glasgow.  This role can also be remote.  

Candidates are required to have a strong academic background in hydrology, flood risk, water resources or GIS and have experience working for a UK based Consultancy completing flood risk assessments, surface water management plans, hydrological risk assessments, water resource assessments, WFD Assessments and water quality.     

Experience of hydraulic modelling is also preferred.  

You will also be required to have excellent written and verbal communication skills to write reports.  

As a Flood Risk Consultant you will join a market leading Hydraulic Modelling Consultancy with offices across the UK.  You will join a new Flood Risk Team to complete varied flood risk, hydrological, water quality, hydraulic modelling and water resources projects for Water Companies and private sector Clients across the UK.  

You will be trained and supported to complete;  

Flood Risk Assessments.

Surface Water Management Plans.

Watercourse Assessments.

Water Framework Directive Assessments.

Water Resource Assessments.

Hydrological Assessments.

Water Quality Assessments.

GIS mapping.
