      <description>Location: Edinburgh | Salary: &amp;pound;65000 - &amp;pound;75000/annum 2 days a week in the office | Type: Permanent | My Client, a market leading Engineering and Environmental Consultancy who specialise in town planning, flood risk management and drainage infrastructure, is searching for an Associate to manage and grow a new flood risk team in Edinburgh.- -  Candidates are required to have an academic background in Hydrology, Environmental Engineering or Civil Engineering and have achieved or be close to achieving Chartered Status.-  You will also be required to have vast experience specialising in flood risk management and drainage designs for residential and commercial development projects. -  Management experience is also required in order to manage and mentor team members.-  As a Flood Risk Associate, you will be required to manage projects, liaise with clients to discuss project development and mentor and support the flood risk team to complete technical work.-  You will be required to review, amend, check and complete the following;-  -Flood risk assessments  -Surface water and catchment management plans  -Surface water drainage strategies  - Foul sewerage and trade effluent drainage strategies to assess the viability of constructing new sewers or private treatment systems.  -Detailed storm ...</description>
