Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer

My Client, a market leading Engineering and Environmental Consultancy based in Sheffield, is searching for a Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer to join their supportive team. You will be required to work from the office. This exciting role will offer candidates the opportunity to join an innovative team who specialise in reducing flood risk and alleviating drainage issues of new developments across the UK. With a wide portfolio of projects you will have the chance to design flood risk solutions for Residential, Commercial, Retail and Education Sectors for both public and private sector clients. As a Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer you will be required to complete varied technical work including; -Flood Risk Assessments for flood zone 1,2 and 3. -Flood Risk Mapping using ArcGIS. -Flood Consequence Assessments. -Drainage Strategies for Planning Applications.-Drainage, attentuation and sewerage design using infodrainage and causeway flow. -Design of drainage solutions for residential, commercial, retail and educational projects. -Client meetings to discuss project progress.
