Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer

My Client, a market leading Engineering and Environmental Consultancy with offices based across the UK, who specialise in low carbon builds and natural flood management, is searching for a Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer to join their team in Bristol. This exciting role will offer candidates the opportunity to join an innovative team who specialise in low carbon builds, flood risk, hydrology and transport planning. With a wide portfolio of projects, you will have the chance to design flood risk and drainage solutions for Residential, Commercial, Retail, Healthcare, Renewables and Education Sectors for both public and private sector clients, with sustainability and carbon-reduction at the core of innovation. As a Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer you will be required to complete varied technical work including; -Flood Risk Assessments for flood zone 1,2 and 3. -SuDS Strategies.-Drainage, attenuation and SuDS design using infodrainage and causeway flow. -Design of sustainable drainage solutions for residential, commercial, healthcare, retail and educational projects. -Natural flood management.-Client meetings to discuss project progress, on occasion.
