Are you an experienced Flood Risk & Drainage professional looking for your next opportunity?
An established and independent environmental consultancy are looking for an accomplished Flood Risk & Drainage Consultant to join their expanding team in Wimbledon. This is an excellent opportunity to work across a range of exciting projects, providing practical and sustainable solutions in flood risk, drainage, and SuDS.
As a Flood Risk & Drainage Consultant, your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing technical flood risk, drainage, and SuDS assessments.
- Undertaking hydrological and hydraulic modelling and interpreting results.
- Working with drainage modelling software and CAD packages.
- Supporting business development - including preparing project quotations/tenders and communicating with clients
- Managing multiple projects and priorities effectively.
- Writing clear and comprehensive technical reports.
- Planning and conducting site investigations

The requirements for the Flood Risk & Drainage Consultant:
- A degree in a relevant subject
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience within flood risk, drainage, hydrology or a related environmental discipline.
- Experience with drainage modelling packages such as Causeway Flow, MicroDrainage or AutoCAD.
- Strong technical report-writing abilities.
- Confidence when communicating with clients and other stakeholders.
- The ability to manage competing deadlines and priorities within a busy consultancy environment.
- A full UK driving licence.
- Full right to work in the UK.
- Ideally based in or within a commutable distance of Wimbledon.
