We are recruiting for a Flights and Travel Executive this is a permanent position working for an established travel business based in Welwyn Garden City.To start in February/March this year, this role is 100% office based in Welwyn Garden City. The working hours are Monday to Friday: 9.00am to 5.30pm.Working as part of a team this is a varied and busy role delivering excellent customer service to both clients and suppliers. Daily Responsibilities will include:Management of flight bookings including ticketing.Action and book requests from clients for extras including ad-hoc seats, group bookings, domestic add-ons, and upgrades.Issuance of variable airline fares, reissues, and refunds.Action schedule changes liaising with both suppliers and clients.Production of accurate travel documents for all clients minimising customer touchpoints.Handle incoming client communication.Assist with the production of reports, documentation and statistics for suppliers, leaders, and airport representatives.Liaise with airport representatives ensuring cost effective tour planning.Plus any other ad hoc administration duties. Person Specification:It is essential that the successful candidate has experience of Amadeus or similar flight booking systems and experience working within the Travel industry.Excellent administration and customer services skillsHighly numeric with s strong attention to detail.Strong IT proficiency with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and OutlookHighly ..... full job details .....
