This is a hands-on role keeping the council''s busy and varied fleet safe, compliant and on the road. What you''ll be doing: Servicing, maintaining and repairing HGVs, LGVs, EVs and other council vehicles, plus attachments and mobile plant Preparing vehicles for annual testing and spotting and reporting defects early Carrying out diagnostic testing and working to manufacturers'' specifications Minor bodywork and painting where needed Driving council vehicles and supporting the mobile workshop service across the city Completing job costing, time recording and quality assurance paperwork Supporting and coaching new starters and apprentices where required What you''ll need: A full, current Category C driving licence valid in Northern Ireland NVQ / City & Guilds Level 3 in Motor Vehicle Engineering, or an equivalen...
