Fleet Mechanical Engineering Manager

Astute are working on behalf of our client who are one of the country''s leaders in the Environmental, Waste and Energy Recovery industries to recruit a Fleet Mechanical Engineering Manager.As the Fleet Mechanical Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of all mechanical projects (including outages) and overseeing the mechanical engineering strategy for a fleet of Energy from Waste Power Stations.If you have the relevant experience (please see below) and are looking for a rewarding role in the Power sector, then please apply.Responsibilities and duties: As the Fleet Mechanical Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for:Engineering Support for all EFW assets relating to all mechanical plant issues.Management and delivery of mechanical projects, outages and plant upgrades.Ensuring compliance with Safe Systems of Work as defined by the Safety Rules for all work.Support the development of each assets CMMS to meet engineering standards and best practice.Development and ongoing review of fleet wide Engineering standards.Provide oversight on Health and Safety issues relating to Mechanical Assets and provide support to the Authorising Engineer.Management and ownership of the GENSIP Mechanical standards and act as company representative.Lead plant performance and improvement projects focusing on mechanical assets.
