Fleet Manager - Transport and Plant Location: Bolton, Greater Manchester Salary: £40-45K Fleet Manager - Transport and Plant Are you an experienced Plant and Fleet Manager, Fleet Manager, Transport Manager or Asset Manager looking for your next challenge? We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established business seeking a commercially minded Fleet Manager to oversee a diverse fleet of HGVs, commercial vehicles, mobile plant, skips and operational assets. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in fleet management, transport compliance, DVSA regulations, Operator Licence compliance, vehicle maintenance, and asset management. The Role As Plant and Fleet Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the company''s fleet and plant assets remain safe, compliant, cost effective and operationally efficient. Your responsibilities will include: • Manage HGVs, commercial vehicles, mobile plant and operational assets. • Ensure full DVSA, Operator Licence and transport compliance. • Oversee servicing, MOTs, PMIs, defect management and maintenance planning. • Maximise fleet utilisation, asset performance and operational efficiency. • Manage maintenance providers, contractors and workshop operations. • Monitor maintenance costs, fuel usage, budgets and fleet KPIs. • Maintain accurate fleet records and compliance documentation. • Lead health and safety standards while driving continuous improvement and fleet replacement initiative You may have been a Fleet Management, ..... full job details .....
