Key Responsibilities Strong technical experience within fleet management, transport operations or vehicle maintenance. Experience working in a commercial vehicle, local authority or large fleet environment. Good knowledge of fleet compliance, vehicle inspections, maintenance regulations and operator licensing. Experience supervising workshop staff, technicians or operational teams. Knowledge of fleet management systems, vehicle maintenance records and performance reporting. Understanding of procurement, vehicle specifications and fleet replacement programmes. Strong organisational, problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to work with operational managers, suppliers and internal stakeholders. A proactive approach to health and safety, compliance and service improvement.
