      <description>Location: Rugby | Salary: &amp;pound;50000 - &amp;pound;55000/annum | Type: Permanent | Fleet Engineer (To support the reliability and availability of the rail maintenance fleet, hands-off role focusing on planning and optimisation).     Rugby    Up to £55,000 + Company Van + Fuel Card    Mon–Fri Early starts c7am One day a week, site visit Excellent benefits    We’re recruiting for a  Fleet Engineer  to support the maintenance, reliability and compliance of a specialist rail track maintenance fleet. This role is ideal for someone with a  hands-on engineering background  who wants to move into a  planning, scheduling and compliance-based engineering role  with real responsibility and autonomy.   You’ll be based at our Warwickshire head office, with  one day per week visiting machines and crews  across the UK.    What You’ll Be Doing   • Reviewing overnight operations logs and preparing for the 8 am engineering call  • Logging, assessing and scheduling maintenance issues  • Planning workshop time, outages and major repairs  • Supporting reliability improvements and maintenance optimisation  • Visiting one machine per week to build rapport with crews and supervisors  • Supporting engineering change controls and dispensations  • Managing your own diary – no micromanageme...</description>
