Mansfield District Council is seeking a Fleet and Maintenance Assistant Manager to help lead a safe, compliant and reliable vehicle management and maintenance service from Hermitage Lane Depot. Reporting to the Waste Services and Fleet Manager, you will oversee the Council’s vehicle maintenance workshop, support effective business control and lead a small technical team, including the Vehicle Maintenance Supervisor and Vehicle Mechanics. You will manage the full vehicle and plant lifecycle, including purchase, leasing, servicing, maintenance, replacement planning and disposal.
