Following the launch of their brand-new manufacturing and logistics site in Northampton, we are looking to recruit a Fleet and Loading Supervisor on a permanent basis.LOCATION: NorthamptonSALARY: CompetitiveCONTRACT: PermanentROLE SUMMARYThe Fleet and Loading Supervisor reports directly to the Transport Manager (TM) and supports the day-to-day management of the Transport Department to ensure efficient operations and achievement of business targets. The role provides leadership to the delivery team, coordinating workloads and ensuring deliveries are completed on time and to the required standards. The successful candidate will also support the Transport team with customer and driver queries.DUTIES INCLUDEComplianceComply with all HSE and company policies relating to loading operations and daily activities.Follow company procedures for dispatching goods and accurately recording damages or missing items.Assist the TM with HR, non-compliance and disciplinary matters, acting as a key contact for driver sickness, accidents and vehicle issues.Ensure vehicle pre-checks are completed and escalate non-compliance to the TM.Complete weekly driver and vehicle audits to maintain legal and company compliance.Deliver toolbox talks alongside the TM and maintain records.Ensure drivers ..... full job details .....
