Fleet & Maintenance manager
The role of Fleet & Maintenance Manager involves overseeing the maintenance and management of a large HGV fleet within the industrial/manufacturing sector. This permanent position is based in Nottinghamshire and requires a proactive individual with expertise in the management and maintenance of HGV fleets.

Description
- Manage and oversee the maintenance schedule for the entire HGV fleet to ensure optimal performance and compliance.
- Develop and implement cost-effective strategies for fleet management and repairs.
- Monitor vehicle performance and maintenance records to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and regulatory standards within the logistics department.
- Coordinate with external service providers for vehicle repairs and maintenance.
- Lead and support a team of maintenance staff to achieve operational targets.
- Manage budgets and report on fleet costs and performance to senior management.
- Implement and maintain effective systems for tracking fleet utilisation and availability.
Profile
A successful Fleet & Maintenance Manager should have:
- Proven expertise in HGV fleet management and maintenance within the industrial/manufacturing sector.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards for logistics operations.
- CPC (required) and O Licence responsibility
- Experience in managing budgets and analysing fleet performance data.
- Experience in managing both inhouse and outsourced HGV maintenance (MIRTE preferenece)
- Effective leadership skills to manage and motivate a team.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in using fleet management systems and tools.
Job Offer
- Competitive salary ranging from -60,000 to -65,000 per annum.
