Attega Group is currently partnering exclusively with our client in recruiting a Fleet Administrator to join the team.
The main purpose of this role is to be part of the team, responsible for the management and coordination of Metcor’ s fleet of vehicles, ensuring Compliance, Cost Control, Efficiency, Driver Support and a Sustainability strategy.
In return, our client is offering a salary of up to £27,000 P/A, depending on experience, plus annual leave, pension, staff events including golf days, family days and Christmas parties.
This is a full-time, permanent role. The hours of work will be 09:00 – 17:00.
Reporting to the Hiring Manager your responsibilities will include:
- Communicate with drivers and service providers via phone and email.
- Manage defects, vehicle compliance, and driver infringements.
- Upload and manage transport data using various systems.
- Assist other departments with Fleet related enquiries.
- Booking in services/MOTs/Inspections.
- Investigate and action PCNs.
- Support the Transport Manager with audits and compliance tasks.
The ideal candidate:
- Knowledge of transport procedures and safety regulations preferred but not essential.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and ideally have experience of Transport Management Systems.
- Someone with attention to detail.
- The ability to drive in order to assist in vehicle movements on occasions.
