CNC Laser Cutting Operative – Flatbed Machines

Pertemps Wolverhampton is recruiting on behalf of a long-standing manufacturing and engineering client based in Wolverhampton. We are looking for an experienced CNC Laser Cutting Operative with hands-on experience using flatbed laser cutting machines.

 
Key Responsibilities: 

•  Operating CNC flatbed laser cutting machines (e.g. Bystronic, Trumpf, Amada, Mazak, Ermaksan)
  
  

•  Setting and adjusting laser cutting equipment for sheet metal and steel components
  
  

•  Reading and interpreting engineering and technical drawings
  
  

•  Quality checking finished metal parts and components
  
  

•  Working within a fast-paced fabrication / production environment
  
  

•  Following strict health & safety and manufacturing procedures
  
  

 

 
Essential Experience & Skills: 

•  CNC laser cutting experience (flatbed machines)
  
  

•  Background in metal fabrication, sheet metal work, or engineering manufacturing
  
  

•  Ability to work from CAD files, drawings, and job specifications
  
  

•  Knowledge of materials such as mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium
  
  

•  Understanding of production targets, machine maintenance, and safe working practices
  
  

 

 
Hours & Pay: 

•  Monday to Friday – 7:30am to 4:30pm
  
  

•  £13.00 per hour
  
  

•  Temporary to Permanent position
  
  

•  Immediate start available
