Fixed Assets and Treasury Accountant

Do you want to work for a highly reputable and growing company, offering an excellent salary and benefits package, including hybrid working, study support and opportunities for progression?We are actively seeking a Fixed Assets and Treasury Accountant for a well established company in Manchester city centre.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a very successful business on a permanent basis.The main duties include:Maintain the fixed asset register, ensuring completeness and accuracyCalculate and post depreciationReview capital expenditure, ensuring correct approvalPerform regular reconciliations between the fixed asset register and the general ledgerSupport the preparation of fixed asset disclosures for statutory accounts and auditsManage daily cash positioning, forecasting and liquidity reportingMonitor bank accounts, including reconciliations and review of cash movementsPrepare month end journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations relating to fixed assets and treasuryWork closely with procurement, operations and project teams on capital projectsOur client is looking for a candidate who:Is a part qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA or ACA)Has fixed asset accounting experienceHas experience or an understanding of treasuryHas strong Excel skillsBenefits include:Salary up to £45kStudy support25 days holiday plus Bank HolidaysHybrid working (1 day per week working from home)Contributory pensionThis is an excellent opportunity, not to be missed!Apply online now!We are ..... full job details .....
