This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional with experience in fixed assets, capital accounting and financial reporting to play a key role in maintaining robust financial controls and supporting statutory reporting requirements.The RoleAs Fixed Assets and Capital Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate fixed asset and leasing records, supporting capital accounting activities and contributing to the production of financial statements and year-end accounts.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain the Fixed Asset Register, ensuring all acquisitions, disposals and transfers are accurately recorded.Manage asset depreciation, impairment and other capital accounting adjustments.Maintain leasing records and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards.Reconcile fixed asset records to the General Ledger and investigate variances.Monitor and report on capital expenditure and capital projects.Support the year-end closure process and preparation of financial statements.Prepare financial disclosures, working papers and supporting documentation for ..... full job details .....
