Fixed Asset and Financial AccountantLeicester 3-4 Days on site per week £45,000 - £55,000 PermanentGleeson are delighted to be recruiting for a Fixed Asset and Financial Accountant to join one of the core teams of a leading retail client of ours.This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant (or QBE with the correct expertise) to take ownership of the Group''s fixed asset accounting, working within a large and complex organisation where you''ll play a key role in financial reporting, forecasting, controls and process improvement.The role will involve:Managing the Group Fixed Asset RegisterFixed asset accounting including additions, disposals and depreciationMonthly balance sheet reconciliationsBudgeting and forecastingFinancial reporting and analysisSupporting year-end auditDriving process improvements and strengthening financial controlsWe''re looking for:ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified is preferred (or QBE with the above experience in large organisations) Previous fixed asset and/or financial accounting experienceExperience of owned the fixed asset register within large, complex environments is essentialAdvanced Excel skillsStrong analytical and communication skillsPlease note, this role is based 3-4 days on site, which is non-negotiable.
