Fitters mate

Pay Rate: -14.57 per hour

Our client, a well-established and busy sheet metal manufacturing company based in Chadderton, is currently recruiting for a Fitters Mate to join their installation team.

Working alongside an experienced Installation Fitter as part of a two-person team, you will assist with the installation of flue ductwork systems at customer sites throughout the UK.

This is a physically demanding, site-based role that offers full training and the opportunity to develop specialist installation skills.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assisting with the installation of flue ductwork systems at customer sites nationwide.

* Supporting the lead fitter with loading, unloading and handling materials and equipment.

* Ensuring work is carried out safely and efficiently in accordance with site regulations.

* Maintaining a professional approach whilst representing the company on customer premises.

* Travelling to sites across the UK as required.

Essential Requirements:

* Previous site-based construction, engineering, installation or labouring experience.

* Ability to safely lift and carry loads of up to 20kg.

* Comfortable working at height.

* Valid CSCS Card.

* Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.

* Flexible approach to working hours, including early starts, late finishes and occasional overnight stays when required. What''s on Offer:

Important Information:
