Our client is a large, independent metals manufacturer. Due to increasing demand, they are recruiting for a Fitter''s Mate to join their busy site in Sheffield.
Duties include:-
- Weekly site machinery inspections and sign off
- Upkeep and maintenance of all plant machinery and equipment
- Carrying out planned maintenance checks
- Emergency breakdowns and repairs
- Daily troubleshooting
- Controlling breakdown / repair documentation
Skills Required
Mechanical engineering knowledge, electrical knowledge would be an additional plus but not mandatory.
This position entails
This is a 39 hour paid / 41.5hr clocked week.
Any overtime will be paid at time and a third in the week after the completion of 39hrs
Time and a half on Saturdays and double time for Sundays.
