The Substation Fitter is responsible for completing work safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards, including working within planned outage periods and meeting project deadlines. Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssemble, install and fit a range of substation equipment in line with project requirements and technical specifications.Carry out fitting activities safely and efficiently across multiple UK sites.Work within planned outage conditions and complete assigned tasks within agreed timeframes.Follow site rules, health and safety procedures, risk assessments, method statements and quality requirements.Identify and help resolve site-based issues, escalating technical concerns where appropriate.Work collaboratively with site supervisors, engineers, colleagues and other contractors to deliver project work.Maintain high standards of workmanship and keep work areas clean, organised and safe.Remain flexible regarding travel, site locations and working arrangements to meet project demands.
