The Role We are looking for a reliable Fitter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing production equipment, ensuring machinery operates safely and efficiently while minimising downtime. Key Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM). Diagnose and repair mechanical faults on production machinery. Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns. Install, service and improve manufacturing equipment. Work closely with the production team to maximise machine performance. Maintain accurate maintenance records. Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with Health and Safety procedures. Assist with continuous improvement projects. Requirements Previous experience as a Mechanical Fitter, Maintenance Fitter or similar role. Good mechanical fault-finding and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Welding or fabrication experience would be an advantage. A positive attitude and willingness to learn. Flexible approach to working hours when required.
