Fitter - ManufacturingLocation: Lisburn Department: Manufacturing Rate of pay : £14.77 per hour Hours: Full-time Working Hours:Monday to Thursday: 8:00am - 5:00pmFriday: 8:00am - 1:00pm The RoleWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Fitter to join a busy manufacturing team based in Lisburn.This is a hands-on role supporting the production of containerised gas engines. You will be responsible for fitting, positioning and assembling components while ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.The successful candidate will work closely with the Production Foreperson, Team Leaders, subcontractors and other departments to ensure production targets and quality standards are consistently achieved. Key ResponsibilitiesYour duties will include:Carrying out general mechanical fitting and stripping duties associated with the build and dispatch of units.Moving, positioning and assembling components and equipment.Completing drilling, cutting and grinding tasks as required.Assisting with lifting and shifting heavy equipment.Measuring and fitting differential pressure hoses.Completing tagging on units.Cleaning and painting units where required prior to dispatch.Supporting welding-related duties as required.Ensuring all completed units meet the required quality standards and production timescales.Working in accordance with relevant method statements, risk assessments and Health and Safety procedures.Maintaining excellent housekeeping standards across ..... full job details .....
