Fitter - Halstead - Day Shift - Full Time - From 32,000 (DOE)We are currently recruiting for a Fitter to join a growing manufacturing company based in Halstead. This is a full time, permanent opportunity offering long-term stability, varied project work, and genuine career progression. This role would suit an experienced Fitter with a background in construction, joinery, or commercial fit-outs who enjoys working across multiple trades to produce high-quality bespoke projects. Metalwork background is also advantageous. About the role:Working within a busy workshop, you will be responsible for the fit-out, installation, and finishing of bespoke hospitality units, food trailers, kiosks, and modular buildings. As a Fitter, you''ll work from technical drawings to complete projects from fabrication through to final installation, ensuring every build meets the highest quality standards. No two projects are the same, making this a varied and rewarding role for someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work and takes pride in producing a quality finish. Key ResponsibilitiesCarrying out the internal fit-out of bespoke trailers, kiosks and modular units Installing wall systems, insulation, cladding, flooring and ceilings Completing joinery and carpentry work, including counters, cabinetry and bespoke fixtures Assisting with plumbing installations, drainage systems and equipment connections Supporting first-fix and second-fix electrical installations Mechanical assembly of fabrication ..... full job details .....
