      <description>Location: Ipswich | Salary: &amp;pound;30000 - &amp;pound;35000/annum | Type: Permanent | We have a new and exciting opportunity for an Electro-mechanical Fitter for a company based in Ipswich, Suffolk!   With an excellent salary on offer with fantastic overtime &amp; other salary enhancements.  Hours of work, 08:00-17:00 (40 hours a week).   We need a skilled engineer who has experience in mechanical &amp; electrical engineering. The primary duties of this role will be the repair, service and overhaul of pumps, gear boxes, fan units, electric motors etc.   This role will involve some site work, but you will be primarily based in the workshop. Some electrical experience is essential, but some training can be provided.     Fitter duties include: -   Preparing various pumps, motors, gearboxes etc. for evaluation/quotation  Carry out all required repairs &amp; testing  Travelling to &amp; from site as required for the job  Being on call as part of a rota system     We are looking for a multi-skilled engineer who can work off their own initiative &amp; also work as part of a team when necessary.
